We have been in Liberia since we started a school for Deaf children in 1998. The Director of Lands and Mines was on our Advisory Board and got us involved in diamond and gold mining to help support Deaf and disabled children in Liberia. We have been involved in a number of exploration and small-scale mining projects. In the course of these small-scale projects, we have identified several large scale mining opportunities involving Diamonds, Gold or Coltrane that could produce significant long term income for DeafMining and your organization.

We are developing a model to raise long term revenue for worthy humanitarian organizations whereby one of their benefactors supplies the necessary initial capital to acquire a Class A Exploration License in Liberia. That Exploration License is then used to do mineral development and test mining at the promising mineral sites. If profitable mining is feasible, the local indigenous people typically become 15% to 20% stakeholders in the project, which takes place on their land. It is wise for security purposes to make the government a 10% stakeholder. If the project develops into a profitable long term mine, the worthy organization’s benefactor will get whatever return he agreed to and the worthy organization and DeafMining will split the remaining profit 50/50 (about 1/3 of the profit each) to be used by us primarily to assist Deaf people to become self-sufficient and by your organization to meet your goals for People with Disabilities (PwDs).

Apart from the financial goal of helping Deaf people and people with disabilities, your organization’s people and your benefactor will grow with the excitement of searching for natural buried treasure, visiting remote jungle areas and enjoying unique experiences that will make you and the disabled people you serve better, more well-rounded, human beings. We will only partner with organizations that devote a significant portion of their resources to helping people with disabilities. If your organization qualifies and has some adventuresome benefactors, please contact us and after we approve of your organization and you sign a Confidentiality Agreement, we will give you the geological information on projects we can offer so you and your donors can evaluate the potential for a long term revenue source through DeafMining.
